Where do you ship to?
We ship to the USA, Canada, UK, and across Europe. Shipping options and costs are displayed at checkout based on your location.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping times vary by destination. Standard international shipping typically takes 7–14 business days. Expedited options may be available at checkout.
How do I track my order?
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. You can use this to monitor your delivery.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel your order. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee changes once an order has been processed.
Products & Fabric
Are your fabrics authentic?
Yes — all our fabrics are authentic, sourced directly from skilled artisans and trusted suppliers across West Africa. We do not sell imitation or machine-printed substitutes for handmade fabrics.
Why do handmade fabrics look slightly different from the photos?
Handmade and hand-dyed fabrics like Batik, Kampala, and Aso-Oke are produced by artisans, not machines. Slight variations in colour, pattern, and texture are a natural and celebrated characteristic of authentic artisanal products — they are not defects.
How much fabric do I need for my project?
As a general guide: a blouse or top requires 2–3 yards, a dress requires 3–4 yards, and a full outfit requires 4–6 yards. See our blog for detailed fabric quantity guides for specific projects.
What is the difference between Ankara, Batik, Kampala, and Aso-Oke?

Fabric Care
How do I wash African fabric?
Care instructions vary by fabric type. See our complete African Fabric Care Guide for detailed washing, drying, ironing, and storage instructions for every fabric type.
Can I machine wash Ankara?
Yes — Ankara can be machine washed on a gentle cycle in cold water. Wash separately for the first few washes to prevent colour bleeding.
How do I care for Aso-Oke?
Aso-Oke should be dry cleaned or hand washed very gently in cold water. Never machine wash. Store flat or rolled, never tightly folded.
Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for items in their original condition, unwashed and unused. Custom-cut fabric and sale items are non-returnable unless defective. Please contact us to initiate a return.
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Please contact us immediately with photos of the issue. We will resolve the problem promptly with a replacement or refund.
